Robbery

Officers responded to a report regarding a robbery. Responding officers spoke to the victim, who stated that she was walking with her mother along the sidewalk when they observed the suspect following them. The victim reported that the suspect was walking directly behind them when she confronted him and told him to “go away”. The suspect then ran towards the victim and punched her in her mouth before grabbing the victim’s backpack and stealing a check that was inside.  

Domestic Violence

Officers responded to a report regarding a domestic violence incident. Responding officers spoke with the victim, who was observed with recent injuries to her face and neck. The victim reported that the suspect, an ex boyfriend, had forcefully grabbed her in an attempt to pull her into his vehicle after an argument about her current boyfriend. The victim stated that she fearfully complied and entered the vehicle and was strangled multiple times by the suspect. The victim was granted a restraining order against the suspect.

Officers responded to a report regarding sexual battery. Responding officers spoke to two victims who reported that the suspect, another student, had repeatedly touched their buttocks throughout the past month despite their protests. The suspect’s parents were contacted and notified. 

Domestic Violence

The victim entered Taraval Police Station to file a stalking and harassment report. Officers spoke to the victim who reported that she had been on several dates with the suspect but eventually ended the relationship and requested that the suspect no longer contact her. However, the victim stated that she continued to receive several phone calls and emails from the suspect. One morning, the suspect also unexpectedly appeared outside of the victim’s house. Fearful that she may come to harm, the victim decided to document and report the incidents to the SFPD. 

Domestic Violence – Arrested

Officers responded to a report regarding a domestic violence incident. Responding officers spoke to the victim who reported that the suspect demanded money from her while threatening to kill her while holding a butcher knife. The victim attempted to call the police but the phone was taken by the suspect and broken when the suspect snatched it and threw it on to the ground. The suspect then grabbed the victim’s throat and threatened her again. The victim was transported to the hospital and after further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Officers responded to a report regarding an assault. Responding officers spoke to the victim who reported that she had an argument with the suspect earlier. As the argument escalated, the suspect became hostile and violent. The victim stated that the suspect strangled her while she was on the ground. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Battery – Arrested

Officers responded to a report regarding a possible battery incident. Responding officers spoke to the victim who reported that she was shopping and attempted to pass the suspect in a narrow aisle. The victim stated that she said  “excuse me” and the suspect told her to “go around” but then made the passage difficult by turning her body sideways and further narrowing the aisle and making contact unavoidable by the victim. The suspect was detained by the department’s asset protection agent until officers arrived. The suspect was arrested for assault.

Elder Abuse – Arrested

Officers responded to a report regarding a possible elder abuse case. Responding officers spoke to the victim who stated that she and the suspect were engaged in an argument earlier. The argument escalated and the victim reported that she was kicked twice in her arm by the suspect. After further investigation, it was revealed that the suspect had a history of multiple accounts of battery, elder abuse and vandalism prior to the current incident. The suspect was arrested.

Officers responded to a report regarding a fight between family members. Officers spoke to the victim who reported that the suspect entered her bedroom and appeared to be intoxicated. The suspect then began punching the victim’s roommate. When the victim attempted to break up the fight, the suspect grabbed her wrist and threw her to the floor. When the officers arrived, the suspect attempted to flee but was located on the roof and arrested.
