Child Neglect – Cited

Officers responded to a well being check on a child. Responding officers located the child and determined that the child was left in a vehicle unsupervised for approximately 20 minutes. Upon questioning, the suspect told the officers that she had left the child sleeping in the vehicle thinking that she would be able to quickly walk into the church and print out a project.  However, there was a person ahead of her and she was away longer than expected. The suspect was cited.

Officers responded to a report of a detained shoplifter. The witness reported that the suspect was observed entering the store and select earphones, which were then concealed before the suspect attempted to leave the store. Responding officers investigated the incident and cited the suspect.

Officers responded to a report of a shoplifter being detained. The witness observed the suspect enter Macys store and select numerous items and placed them into an empty bag. The suspect then left the store. Officers investigated the incident and cited the suspect

Assault – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a domestic violence incident. Responding officers spoke with the victim, who reported that he had arrived home and unexpectedly discovered the suspect at the residence. An argument with the suspect immediately ensued regarding the rent money. The victim became frustrated and attempted to leave the residence. However, the suspect followed the victim and starting striking him with a golf club. A computer check on the suspect revealed that she had a restraining order to stay away from the victim and his house. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Officers responded to a report of a battery. Responding officers spoke with the victim, who reported that the suspect began yelling at him and became agitated enough to throw a glass bowl at him while they were in the bedroom. The victim attempted to leave the room while the suspect stayed continued to throw several more items around before locking the bedroom door. The victim returned and pushed at the bedroom door to retrieve his key but the suspect threw another item which caused a cut on his finger. The victim called the police while the suspect fled the scene.
