Robbery – Resisting Arrest – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of shoplifters. Responding officers arrived and located the three suspects matching the reported description. When the officers approached the suspects, two of them immediately fled. The third suspect was questioned and searched, which revealed two items in his possession that are commonly used to break into vehicles. The witness, the manager of the store, reported that an employee observed the suspects enter the store and take multiple items which included food. When the employee tried to stop the suspects from leaving the store and detain them, the suspects threatened the employee with a knife and threw food at the witness before fleeing the store. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.
