Driving While on Drugs – Cited

Officers responded to a report of a vehicle collision. While speaking with the officers, the suspect admitted to taking prescription medication prior to driving and fell asleep while driving home. After further investigation, officers determined that the suspect was in violation of driving a vehicle while under the influence of drugs. The driver was cited later, while at the hospital.
Assault – Terrorist Threats – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of an assault. Responding officers spoke to the victim, who reported that he was walking on the sidewalk when the suspect suddenly jumped out of the surrounding bushes and threatened him. The suspect then struck the victim with an unknown object before running back into the bushes. Officers searched and located the suspect, who was arrested after further investigation.

Officers responded to a report of a fight. Responding officers searched and located the two people who were involved in the fight but neither party wanted to press charges against each other. However, a computer check revealed that one of the people had two warrants and was arrested.
