Driving without a License – Cited

Officers were on patrol when they observed a vehicle failing to yield to a pedestrian. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and a computer check on the driver revealed that the driver did not have a driver’s license. The driver was cited.

Battery – Cited

Officers responded to a report regarding a possible battery incident. Responding officers spoke with the victim, who stated he was pushed to the ground and punched on his leg by the suspect. A witness stated the victim and suspect were arguing over food and often wrestled against each other. The suspect was cited.

Trespassing – Arrested

Officers responded to a report regarding a fight. Responding officers spoke to the victim, who stated he had observed the suspect standing outside his residence. While calling the police, the suspect made entry into the victim’s garage without consent and the victim yelled for the suspect to leave. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Warrant Arrest – Arrested

Officers were on patrol when they observed a vehicle that belonged to a suspect with an active felony warrant. As the officers approached the suspect, he immediately sprinted away. The officers detained the suspect, despite a second attempt to escape and the suspect was arrested.  

Burglary

1300 La Playa St
Officers responded to a report regarding a possible burglary incident. Responding officers spoke to the witness, who reported that she had observed the suspect in the rear of the property with items belonging to her landlord. The witness called the landlord and confirmed that the suspect was trespassing. The witness then escorted the suspect out of the residence and called the police. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested for burglary.

Assault – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a fight in progress. Responding officers spoke to a witness, who reported that the fight began outside a bar between two groups of people. The witness also identified one suspect who was involved in the fight that stabbed a woman. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.
