Shoplifting – Warrant Arrest – Arrested

1500 Sloat Blvd
Officers responded to a report of shoplifting. The witness reported that she heard the sound of a phone being pulled from it’s case. Looking around, she observed that a display phone was no longer in it’s case and missing. The witness observed the suspect run out of the store and called the police. Responding officers successfully searched, located and detained the suspect. A computer check on the suspect revealed the suspect had a warrant for his arrest. The suspect was arrested.

Vandalism – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a verbal fight. Upon arrival, officers met with the victim who stated he and the suspect had an argument earlier. The victim stated shortly after the argument, he observed the suspect grabbing a bag of sugar from the house and pouring it down the gas port of his vehicle. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Driving with Suspended License – Traffic Violation – Cited

Great Hwy & Quintara St
Officers were on patrol when they observe a vehicle driving through the intersection despite a solid red light. Officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer query on the driver revealed that his license had been suspended. The driver was cited.

Warrant Arrest – Arrested

Jules Ave & Holloway Ave
Officers were on patrol when they observed a known subject with warrants for his arrest. Officers confirmed the suspect had two local warrants and placed the suspect under arrest.

Battery

Ocean Ave & Miramar Ave
A victim entered Taraval Police Station to make an assault report. The victim stated he was on MUNI when he was punched in the face by the suspect. The victim stated he did not know the suspect and was punched twice in the face before he retaliated out of self-defense.

Driving with Suspended License – Cited

19th Ave & Denslowe Dr
Officers were on patrol when they observe a vehicle speeding at a rate of 52 MPH in a 35 MPH zone. Officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer query on the driver revealed that his license was suspended. The driver was cited.

Assault
11:02 am
19th Ave & Eucalyptus Dr
Officers responded to a report regarding a person throwing rocks at passing vehicles. Officers spoke with two separate victims who stated they were both driving when they observed the suspect throw large rocks at their vehicle. The thrown rocks caused a large dent in one vehicle and a broken windshield on the other vehicle. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

3200 20th Ave
Officers responded to a report regarding a battery. Responding officers met with the victim, who stated she had attempted to walk by the suspect and said “excuse me” to the suspect. The victim stated the suspect responding by getting extremely close to her face, which caused her to push the suspect away.  The suspect retaliated and began to punch the victim’s face multiple times before walking away. Officers searched but were unsuccessful in locating the suspect.

Robbery

200 Winston Dr
Officers responded to a report regarding a person with a gun. Responding officers spoke with a restaurant manager, who reported that the suspect had asked for a cup  of water. However, after receiving it, the suspect demanded a larger cup and walked behind the counter to get it himself. The manager notified mall security and another employee followed the suspect out into the parking lot. Upon approaching the suspect’s vehicle, the employee observed the suspect pointing a gun at her and immediately fled. Officers were unsuccessful in locating the suspect.
