Battery

43rd Ave & Quintara St
Offices responded to a report of a person screaming. Responding officers spoke to the victim, who reported that she observed several suspects, believed to be drunk, kicking vehicles along Quintana Street and confronted them. An argument ensued and the suspects kicked the victim before fleeing the location. Officers were unsuccessful in their search for the suspects nor were they able to locate any damages to surrounding vehicles. 

Vehicle Tampering – Cited

Officers responded to a possible auto burglary. Responding officers spoke to the victim, who reported that he had left his vehicle door open and unlocked while he carried several items into his parent’s house. When the victim returned, he observed the suspect inside and tampering with the vehicle.  The victim confronted the suspect which caused the suspect to immediately flee. Officers searched and located the suspect. However, upon questioning, the suspect denied being inside the victim’s vehicle.  After further investigation, the suspect was cited.

Vehicle Burglary – Arrested

19th Ave & Quintara St
Officers were on patrol and were flagged down regarding a suspect who had broken into a vehicle. The officers searched and located the vehicle, which had a broken window and the alarm sounding, with the suspect still inside. When questioned, the suspect responded that the vehicle was a rental and that he was waiting for his wife. The officers located the owner of the vehicle through a computer check and after further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Officers responded to a report of a battery. Responding officers spoke to the victim, who reported that she met with her ex boyfriend after receiving a message that there was a letter she had to sign. Upon meeting with the suspect, the victim entered the suspect’s vehicle and an argument ensued over their relationship. The argument escalated and the suspect slammed the victim’s head against the dashboard of the vehicle. Several witnesses helped the victim exit the suspect’s vehicle before the suspect immediately fled the location.
