Shoplifting – Cited

Officers responded to a report regarding theft. Responding officers spoke to the witness, a store cashier, who reported that the suspect was observed grabbing two items of merchandise and immediately exiting the store with them without paying. Officers successfully searched and located the suspect, who was then positively identified by the witness. After further investigation, the suspect was cited.

Ocean Ave & Lee Ave

Officers responded to a report regarding battery. The victim, a business owner, reported that the suspect was observed harassing customers and was asked to leave. The suspect became confrontational and struck the victim three times before leaving the restaurant. Responding officers successfully located the suspect and after further investigation, the suspect was cited and transported for detention due to his violent behavior.
Driving Under the Influence – Arrested
28th Ave & Santiago St

Officers responded to a report of a vehicle being driven in an unsafe manner. Responding officers located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. As the officers approached, the suspect was observed to be slumped over the steering wheel of the car. After failing several sobriety tests and further investigation, the suspect was determined be under the influence of alcohol. The suspect was arrested.
Embezzlement – Theft – Cited

Officers responded to a report regarding a theft and embezzlement incident with an employee. Responding officers met with the Asset Protection supervisor who reported that he found a discrepancy when preforming a routine check of deleted items from a register. After further investigation, the supervisor discovered that the suspect had stolen multiple items when she found merchandise without a security sensor attached to them and also removed sensors off of items to give to friends. The suspect was cited.
Violation of Restraining Order
200 Minerva St

Officers responded to a report regarding a violation of restraining order. Responding officers spoke with the victim, who reported that his brother was in violation of a restraining order. The victim provided documentation for the restraining order and the officers explained the terms and conditions of the restraining order to both parties.
Robbery
19th Ave & Judah St

Officers responded to a report regarding a robbery. Responding officers met with the victim who reported that she was waiting for the bus with her cellphone out when two suspects suddenly appeared and attempted to snatch the phone from her hand. When the victim refused to let go of her phone, the suspects pushed her to the ground causing her to hit her head and lose consciousness. When she awoke, the suspects had already fled.
Robbery
Taraval St & 28th Ave

Officers responded to a report regarding a stabbing incident. Responding officers spoke to the victims, who stated that the had just exited their friend’s vehicle and were walking on Taraval street when they were suddenly approached by the two suspects. One suspect asked “What you got?” before the victims were attacked by both suspects. Both victims then walked back to their friend’s vehicle and were transported to San Francisco General Hospital for treatment. Officers were unsuccessful in locating the suspects.
