Violation of Restraining Order – Arrested

Officers responded to a restraining order violation. The victim reported that the suspect, his brother, had violated the order by placing items on his property and then threatening him. When the victim objected, the suspect threatened to harm him. Responding officers inspected and confirmed the restraining order; the suspect was arrested.

Identity Theft – Burglary – Unlawful Entry – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of an incident of fraud. The witness, a loss prevention employee, reported that the suspect attempted to purchase three new cell phones with inconsistent information. The witness contacted the phone company to question the irregularities and was told that the suspect did not have permission to use the information. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Burglary – Probation Violation – Possession of Stolen Property – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a burglary in progress. The victim reported that the suspect was observed by the side of his house yesterday when the victim returned home. When questioned, the suspect told the victim that he was an employee of PG&E and immediately fled the location. Today, the victim was home when he heard a noise from the front gate and observed that the suspect was outside his house again. Responding officers located and questioned the suspect, who responded that he had a lease and was currently living at the house The officers detained the suspect and a search revealed multiple items that had been stolen from several different victims. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Officers were on patrol and recognized a known suspect who had a warrant for his arrest. Officers confirmed the warrant and detained the suspect. The suspect was arrested without incident.  

Shoplifting – Cited

Officers responded to a report of a shoplifting incident. The witness reported that the suspect was observed stealing multiple items before immediately walking out of the door. Responding officers detained the suspect without incident and a computer check on the suspect revealed that he was on probation. After further investigation, the suspect was cited.
