Battery – Vandalism – Cited

200 Farallones St
Officers responded to a report of a battery. Upon questioning, the first party stated that the second party purposely broke several items that were on the stairs. The second party responded that she knocked on the gate to speak with party one about being more careful while parking. The second party stated that this caused party one to become angry and they started pushing at each other. Both parties wanted to press charges against each other and after further investigation, both parties were cited.

Warrant Arrest – MPC Violation – Arrested

San Benito Way & Ocean Ave
Officers responded to a report of a suspicious activity; the suspect was observed peering intently at several different parked vehicles for no apparent reason. Responding officers searched and located the suspect and a computer check revealed that he had a warrant out of San Mateo County. A search of the suspect also revealed an open bottle of alcohol but officers were unable to locate any vehicles that had been broken into. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested for the warrant and MPC violation.

Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim, an employee, reported the a suspect was observed inside the store trying to shoplift. Recognizing the suspect, who had a past history of stealing in the store, the victim approached and asked for the return of the merchandise. The suspect responded by angrily throwing merchandise items at the victim and spat on the victim before leaving the store.

Officers responded to a report of a fight on a MUNI train. The victim reported that he observed the suspect staring intently at him for no apparent reason. The victim questioned the suspect about it and offered to settle the issue off the train.  The victim stated that the suspect then shoved him and he responded by punching the suspect in retaliation. The suspect then exited the train.

Officers responded to a report of a fire; SFFD arrived prior to SFPD and extinguished the fire. SFFD reported that an unknown suspect had set an abandoned couch on fire.

200 West Portal Ave
Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim reported that he was making a transaction at a bank ATM when he received a phone call. While talking on the phone, the suspect started to call him names and yelled at him for taking too long. The suspect then tried to hit the victim’s phone out of his hand. After further investigation and an interview with a witness, the suspect was later cited.
