Burglary – Arrested

Taraval Station
Taraval SIT Inspectors concluded their investigation into a burglary case that occurred earlier in the week and located the suspect. A computer check on the suspect revealed that suspect was already in jail on a separate case.

Robbery – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a known suspect, with a history of robbery, had returned to the store. The witness. a store employee, reported that the store had attempted to detain the suspect after a robbery several days ago but was unsuccessful when the suspect threatened employees with a knife. Responding officers successfully approached and detained the suspect. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.  

Carrying a Concealed Weapon – Brandishing

Officers responded to a report of a suspect brandishing a firearm. The victim reported that he was driving and slowed down but failed to stop for a child that had just stepped off the sidewalk to walk into the street. The driver drove around the child and suddenly heard someone banging on his vehicle. The victim exited the vehicle and a suspect approached him while lifting up his shirt and reaching for a firearm. The suspect’s female acquaintance, however, said “not here” and they both left the location without further incident.  

Battery

Officers responded to a report of an assault. The witness reported that an argument was observed and that the suspect was observed kicking the victim. The witness confronted the suspect which caused the suspect to flee. Responding officers attempted to speak with the victim but the victim was uncooperative, refused assistance and left the location. 

Battery – Arrested

Officers responded to a well being check. The victim reported that the suspect, her boyfriend, was in violation of a retraining order. The victim stated that she woke up to the sound of the suspect’s voice yelling at her. The suspect then slapped her and threatened to harm her for having him arrested. Responding officers located the suspect and after further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Officers responded to a report of a non injury collision. The officers assisted in the exchange of information; one driver stated that he did not have his license. However, a computer check revealed that the driver actually had a suspended license. The driver was cited.
