Robbery Attempted
9:23 am
700 Taraval St
Officers responded to a shoplifting incident. The witness reported that the suspect was observed taking store merchandise and was confronted by the store manager. In response, the suspect pushed the manager away before turning over the items and immediately exited the store. 

Battery
8:55 am
1200 Ocean Ave
Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim reported that the suspect is from her neighborhood and always seems to be at the same places that she is also at. Earlier, the victim confronted the suspect at McDonalds and told the suspect to stop following her, which lead to an argument. Both the victim and suspect attempted to leave but the suspect almost hit the victim with the door and another argument ensued. The victim stated that the suspect then punched her once.  

Responding officers located the suspect after a search and were told that they both lived in the same apartment complex and ran into each other earlier, which prompted an argument. The suspect stated that the victim lunged at him and he automatically threw up a hand to protect himself but accidentally hit the victim. After further investigation and questioning, the victim declined to press charges.

Officers responded to a report of a domestic violence incident. Responding officers arrived and were immediately met with the suspect, who announced that he was the one that the officers were searching for. The victim stated that the suspect had been drinking and using drugs during a Super Bowl party earlier and returned home angry. The suspect yelled and threatened to harm the victim and also choked the victim until she loss consciousness. When the victim regained consciousness, she contacted the police. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.
