Officers responded to a report of a suspect stealing a laptop. The victim reported that he was sitting at the back of a restaurant at the counter with his laptop when the suspect approached. The victim stated that the suspect suddenly went behind the counter and immediately snatched the laptop from the victim. The victim and a witness gave chase but stopped when the suspect made a gesture indicating that he had a gun. The suspect then departed with two other people who were in a waiting vehicle.
