Shoplifting

1500 Sloat Blvd
Officers responded to a report of a theft. The manager reported that an employee was in charge of depositing money into the business account but the account never received the deposit. When questioned, the employee tried to claim that he had lost the deposit but later admitted to have stolen it instead. Despite being read the Miranda Rights, the employee admitted to the officers that he had a drug problem and needed the money. The employee was later cited.

Vehicle Violation – False Evidence of Vehicle Registration – Suspended Driver’s License – Cited

20th Ave & Irving St
Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle with a broken taillight. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the vehicle revealed that the front license plate did not match the rear plate. A computer check on the driver revealed that his license had been suspended. The driver was cited.

Indecent Exposure

West Portal & Ulloa St
The victims entered Taraval Station to report an incident of Indecent Exposure. The victims stated that they were walking along on the sidewalk and observed the suspect with his genitals exposed. The suspect did not make any advances or speak to the victims. The victims left the scene and called the police before going to Taraval Station. 

 

Suspended Driver’s License

Lincoln Way & 23rd Ave
Officers were on patrol and heard a sudden and loud explosion from the middle of the intersection that was nearby. The officers then observed a vehicle rapidly making an illegal u-turn and driving away very fast. The officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license was suspended. The driver was cited.

Vehicle Theft – Possession of Stolen Property – Burglary tools – Arrested

300 Kensington Way
Officers responded to a report of an auto theft. Responding officers arrived while the victim was detaining the suspect. The victim reported that he returned to his vehicle and noticed that the driver door was left open. Upon investigation of the vehicle’s interior, he found that multiple items were missing. The victim entered the vehicle and drove around until he encountered the only other person on the street. The victim looked into the bag after receiving permission and saw several of his personal items. The victim detained the suspect until the officers arrived. A search of the suspect revealed burglary tools and confirmed the items were stolen from the victim. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.
