Yesterday evening Taraval officers responded to the area of 47th Ave and Vicente regarding calls of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a victim who sustained gunshot wounds. The initial report revealed 3 suspects approached the victim and a witness. During this time, one of the suspects produced a firearm, shooting the victim. Due to the quick response and actions of the officers, all suspects in the case were detained. The suspected shooter in this case has been booked for the shooting. This is an ongoing investigation and I am limited as to the information I can share. The officers of Taraval station are understanding of the stress violence can cause for a community and we are attentive to the needs and concerns of the residents.
