San Francisco Police Arrest Suspect in Market Street Broad Daylight Shooting

blk_targetDecember 6, 2013 – San Francisco Police arrested a suspect responsible for a broad daylight Market Street shooting. Taken into custody was Keron Lamotte, 19 years old of San Francisco.

On Monday December 2, 2013 at around 1:33 pm, Officers from Tenderloin and Southern Station responded to shots fired in the area of Jones and Market Streets.

Police located a male victim on Market Street with multiple gun shot wounds.

The shooting victim was transported to the hospital where he suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators from both Southern and Tenderloin Police District Stations worked together interviewing witnesses and gathering evidence. The investigation resulted in the identification of Lamotte as the suspect wanted in the shooting. Officers from Tenderloin Station, Taraval Station and the Violence Reduction Team searched for Lamotte late Monday night. The search would last 48 hours culminating with Lamotte’s arrest Wednesday night in the Lakeview District of San Francisco by Taraval Neighborhood Team (TNT) Officers. Lamotte is in custody on attempted murder charges.
