Traffic Violation – Suspended Driver’s License – Cited

35th Ave & Qunitara St
Officers observed a vehicle traveling without headlights. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license had been suspended and that the driver also had a history of being cited for driving without a license. The driver was cited and his vehicle towed.

25th Ave & Noriega St
Officers observed a known suspect in the area who had a history of previous arrests for multiple incidents of robbery, burglary and other theft related crimes. As the officers drove past the suspect, the suspect saw the officers and immediately turned around and walked away at a fast pace before breaking out into a run. The suspect continued to flee from the officers despite an order to stop but was successfully detained. The officers searched the suspect and located numerous candies and a residue filled glass pipe, commonly used to inhale methamphetamine. After further investigation and confirming that the suspect had not stolen anything from a nearby store, the suspect was cited for the possession of narcotic paraphernalia and delaying officer’s duties.

Officers responded to a report of a suspect dumping trash. The victim reported that she saw the suspect dumping a tv onto the streets in the area and confronted the suspect. The suspect started yelling at the victim and attempted to punch her twice but missed hitting the victim. The victim attempted to take pictures of the suspect with her cell phone but the suspect stole the phone and threw it over a fence as he fled the location. Responding officers located the suspect and after further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim told the officers that he had just walked out of McDonald’s when a vehicle pulled up next to him. The suspect exited the vehicle and pushed the victim on his chest while threatening to hurt him if he did not hand over his property. The suspect then simulated having a firearm. Fearful, the victim handed over his items. The suspect returned to the vehicle and fled the scene with the stolen property.

Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim told the officers that he had purchased some beer and was walking home when three juvenile suspects approached him and attacked him without provocation. The suspects then went through the victim’s pocket and took his money and fled.
