Officers were on patrol and randomly selected a vehicle for a computer check. The computer check revealed that vehicle’s registration was expired. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and a computer check on the driver revealed that he was driving on a suspended license. The driver was cited.
Elder Abuse

Officers responded to a report in regards to an elder abuse incident. Upon arrival, officers spoke with a worker from Adult Protective Services who told officers that the victim stated she had been sexually assaulted by her attorney. However, the APS employee stated that the victim suffers from dementia and was unsure if her statements were credible. Officers were unable to make contact with the suspect.
Domestic Abuse – Arrested

Officers responded to a report regarding a possible domestic violence incident. Responding officers were immediately greeted with the suspect in pursuit of the victim and attempting to punch the victim. The suspect was detained. Upon questioning, the victim stated that she and the suspect had gotten into an argument earlier about the parking of their vehicle. The victim reported that the suspect became angry and she attempted to run away from him. Officers obtained a restraining order for the victim against the suspect and after further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Officers were on duty at Taraval Police Station when the victim entered to file a battery report for documentation purposes. The victim stated she and her tenant got into a verbal argument about housing issues. While arguing, the victim stated that the suspect pushed her arm which caused her to fall to the ground.
