Vehicle Violation – No Driver’s License – Cited

12th Ave & Kirkham St
Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle fail to stop at a posted stop sign. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license had expired. The driver was cited.

Trespassing – Theft – Under the Influence in a Public Place – Cited

1700 Ocean Ave
Officers responded to a report that a suspect had just stolen the store’s tip jar. Multiple witness and victims approached the officers to report that the suspect had trespassed onto their property and only left when victim yelled at him. The second victim stated that suspect also went into the coffee store and attempted to steal the tip jar, however employees managed to retrieve it back. Responding officers located and detained the suspect, who appeared to be highly intoxicated. The suspect was placed into the detox cell for four hours and then cited and released.

800 Ulloa St
Officers responded to a report of a couple in a fight. The victim reported that she told the suspect to leave her alone after they had been arguing all day. The suspect refused to leave and continued to grab and pull at her. A witness also reported that he attempted to help the victim but was punched by the suspect instead. The victim refused to provide her name and both the victim and witness declined to press charges. However, after further investigation, the suspect was later arrested.

Officer was flagged down by a victim, who reported that he had just been punched. The victim said that he was walking down the street and was suddenly punched by the suspect. The suspect was detained but denied punching the victim. After further investigation, the suspect was cited.

Rivera St & Great Hwy
Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle failing to stop at a posted stop sign. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check revealed that the driver had never had a license issued to him. The driver was cited.
